Forklift driver

• Location: Lytton, QLD

• Pay Rate: $40 per hour (Casual)

• Shift: Morning Shift

  • Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Monday to Friday, or as rostered)

• Environment: Cold Storage / Cold Room (Must be comfortable working in low temperatures)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift (Reach or Counterbalance, depending on the site) safely and efficiently within a cold room environment.

• Loading and unloading trucks and containers.

• Moving and stacking pallets of product accurately.

• Assisting with general warehouse duties, including manual handling, as required.

• Conducting pre-start checks on the forklift and reporting any maintenance issues.

• Adhering strictly to all cold storage safety procedures.

What You'll Need

• Current and valid Australian Forklift Licence (LF) is essential.

• Proven experience operating a forklift in a cold storage / freezer environment is highly regarded.

• Ability to reliably commit to the 5:00 AM start time.

• Low physical demand

• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.

• Your own reliable transport to the Lytton area.
